Jessee, Read & Howard, P.C. serves clients throughout Southwest Virginia from Lee County to Lynchburg. Our doors are always open to welcome the opportunity for our legal family to help your family. Our firm has two lawyers with a wealth of experience, serving clients on both the state and federal levels in civil trial and appellate work. Hired Attorney Heather R. Howard

Heather handled my trial, which was one of the biggest cases in recent times in our area. She put together a team of some of the best experts in their field from across the country. After gathering them, she flawlessly used their expertise to dominate the entire trial from beginning to end. The year we were working together, she showed unmatched legal prowess and knowledge. That allowed me to trust her fully amd to take complete control of the case without me having any reservations of the path and tactics we took. If I were asked for a suggestion for an attorney I couldn't think of anyone I'd suggest over her.

Ms. Howard did a great job explaining to me everything about my case. I had a bad car wreck but I knew I could always depend on Ms. Howard to make sure that the insurance company wasn’t going to mess me over and I knew my case was in good hands. Ms. Howard is passionate about what she’s does- she’s a fighter! I can’t thank Ms. Howard enough for everything she did for me. She was very professional and always kept me in the loop. I highly recommend Ms. Howard. She’s the best! I will never use anyone but her.

Heather Howard was the best attorney that I have worked with over the many years across multiple States for various legal proceedings. I greatly appreciated her help through the entire protective order and divorce ordeals. Heather made a very bad situation less stressful by keeping me focused and not spending energy on things that did not matter. Her professionalism and excellent guidance kept efforts moving forward and costs to a minimum. Speaking of costs, Heather's hourly rate and the hours spent on my case were very fair. Her billing was clear so there was never a need to question any charge. From the interactions with the staff at the Washington County Court House (e.g. other attorneys, judge, police officers, administrative support, etc.), I could tell Heather is a very well respected attorney in the community. For this and all that she did on my case, Heather will remain my go-to attorney for any future legal needs.
