His office was very disorganized and records were not filed in timely manner. When complained about this matter to him, his rebuttal was to find another attorney instead of correcting the problem. The end result took longer than what was originally promised.
ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE, SEVERE VIOLATIONS OF DUE PROCESS AND VIOLATION OF ALL CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS. HE WILL TRY TO SEND YOU TO PRISON IMMEDIATELY, WITHOUT ASKING ONE QUESTION! IF YOU AREN'T AWARE OF YOUR RIGHTS PLEASE DO YOUR RESEARCH DON'T LET THEM FOOL YOU!
Hands down, Hatchett is awful. He was deceptive multiple times over the course of several months. He refused phone calls and e-mails. He repeatedly failed to keep promises. He demonstrated immoral characteristics. My opinion, do not, under any circumstances, hire this low life.
Horrible Greedy man doesn't actually help a soul but walks around like he's better than everyone else! This is my first ever court appearance and the man didn't take the time to actually figure out my story nor did he fight to drop the warrant that was very unfair since I have paid all bond fees and showed up to court early. If I were given the choice I'd much rather represent myself than allow this cocky prude to ever speak for me. Not to mention he threatened to fight me when I asked for a new court appointed lawyer.
I have personally been in trouble with the law all my life. So I guess you can say I'm a career criminal byron hatchet is by far the worst attorney I not only have met but heard of. To begin with I requested for a speedy trial in which he failed to file for. He then denied me access to my discovery on the case and any evidence against me and then he further tricked into taking a plea in which he was explained to me was time served which had to be fixed at a later date. The 42nd district court in texas was well aware of his behavior as well as for I requested for a new attorney on numerous ocassions. Not only.him but the 42nd district court violated my constitutional rights and tricked me into accepting a plea. My due process rights were violated as well. If this isn't kangaroo court then I don't know what is
