Extremely personable and knowledgeable, Mr. Norman read the governing statues to me while I was on the phone with him. Based on those statutes, he made his recommendation on how I should proceed. He is very articulate and easy for a layman to understand.
James Hines Jr is unlike any person I have met. He is reasonable priced, patient, and connected immediately with me, responded to all emails/calls super fast, and made me feel like I was his only client when I met with him. He is professional, and actually genuinely cares. I had a complicated special needs child involved and Mr Hines played out every conceivable scenario with me to insure I selected the best for my precious son. Amazing Attorney, Amazon Human Being!

He was very helpful in setting up a Medicaid situation for my elderly father with MS. He rearranged funds and walked the process through the necessary governmental channels. The process took weeks instead of the normal months.
My widowed sister passed away and her sister-in-law and executor hired HNH to process the will. I called HNH for an appointment to discuss what I might expect, and if funeral expenses I paid would be reimbursed by her estate. I believe because the will names her foster son the inheritor of her estate, and I am not executor, HNH did not return my calls. At least the attorney appointed, Ashley Friedrich, did not. I live in New York, so my time in Florida was limited to the funeral. So I gave communication and responsiveness one star.
Aren't lawyers supposed to inform you in advance if they charge an initial consultation fee? I had an initial phone consultation with Chris Norman back in June 2024 regarding difference between a Trust & a Will. A year later, I received an email from Office Mgr, threatening to involve a debt collector if I didn't pay for this 15-min consultation I had back on June 26, 2024. There was no mention of a consultation FEE before that phone call. Since receiving the threatening email on 6/17/25 I've tried to reach their Office Mgr three times over three days, but she's always unavailable. If a law firm needs to make their income from sneaky consultation fees, they're clearly not generating enough revenue from actual client cases & are not a good choice for a law firm. I'll pay their consultation FEE (they obviously need it to keep their firm afloat) but I would strongly suggest anyone reading these reviews to find an alternative, more ethical team for their litigation needs
Robert Hines took over the practice of Richard Agster who had a massive stroke. There was a problem with the services Mr. Agster performed for us so we were told to contact Mr. Hines since all the files were transferred to him. I contacted Mr. Hines. He basically told him he took no responsibility for the services performed by Mr. Agster. He said he would be happy to help me resolve the problem but I would have to pay him to do so. I don't feel I should have to pay AGAIN to have this fixed.
