I was billed $20k in legal services, before even the first hearing. Working with Mike, Wendy and Sylvie was painfully dragging, inefficient and with 0 results. If anything, I felt taken advantage of, confused even more, billed exorbitant fees for absolutely no value, not supported or not even educated for each step of the process. Working with Mike and trying to get information and knowledge was like pulling teeth, and if I spoke up, he’d call it “contentious debate”; the person who was supposed to help me, took great advantage of me during my most vulnerable and painful time. I wish I had left a lot sooner when my gut feeling was telling to, but he made it extremely difficult by billing and keeping me even more anxious with high bills, hoping I would go nowhere now that I’m in so deep. The most painful experience during the most painful times. They operate on basis of intimidation and power. Once more my lesson is to trust and follow my gut feeling and never second guess myself.
