Attorney filed motion to recuse himself from my case with no warning. I was disabled and short of money at that time. Unable to drive, I rode a bus from San Pedro, California to Beverly Hills with a check for $5,000 dollars to facilitate the withdraw of the motion and continue the case with a different attorney in same firm. Probably a good attorney in the "correct" social setting. I was not advised on matters that later proved to be detrimental to my case. Caveat emptor.
He misrepresented and misquoted Moss v. Superior Court which was the cornerstone of our case.
He billed me my whole year’s income in research alone, but clearly never read the authority above, which was not applicable. He simply did not do the work he charged for.
Subsequently, we were advised in his best interest for profit not ours he’ll do the same to you.
