Smigel, Anderson & Sacks, LLP is a law firm established in 1973 with an office in Harrisburg, PA. At this office location, there are 11 lawyers practicing civil litigation, trial practice, corporate law and 5 other areas of law.
My attorney traveled from Harrisburg to their Carlisle office so I would not have to travel to Harrisburg. With children in the home this was important to me as it meant less time away from the house
This firm was top-notch in taking a vested interest in my needs and paid close attention to detail. I was impressed with the professionalism, customer service and cost-effectiveness in working with this firm.
I saw a lawyer at Smigel, Anderson, & Sacks, W. C., and I felt that he was not aggressive at all with my case. I felt he was over-priced, and was very good at convincing me of his worth and pay. Definitely helped me realize to only pay for a lawyer with a contingent fee.
I’m a current client and I’m very frustrated with Stuart’s cognitive abilities. He’s not a skilled communicator, he’s not focused- but he never forgets to send a bill. He will take years longer than needed with your affairs whenever possible. If you have worked with him I suggest you have another professional recheck his work for his regular style of overbroadness and conclusory view of your affairs. 2-Dimensional view of the world which prevent him from researching multiple issues at once. Not a business man, even if he gave advice I wouldn’t trust it as the highest and best use of your resources. Not emotionally intelligent and liable to cause fights among your decedents. Poor network of resrouces- will refer you to or have you associate with incompetent attorneys (I’m not sure if the good ones will work with him, it’s a small town.) My family left behind a large estate and even we cannot afford Stuart’s wasteful meandering approach, very sad for my family and my father’s memory
