John and his team were very kind and supportive during the long drawn out process that a divorce can take. Always responsive, and respectful of the sensitivity of the situation. I found John to be a true Gentleman.

I hired John DiMascio Jr. in early 2020 as counsel in my divorce proceedings. I suggest strongly you audio record your meetings with him as I did. During the course of representation, Mr. DiMascio repeatedly neglected to file documents (such as a spousal support application) and present evidence to the Court including tax returns and other income documents. Mr. DiMascio asked me to circumvent the NYS paternity testing law by going out of state in June 2020. In August 2020, Mr. DiMascio asked me to seek financial assistance from a “loan shark.” Mr. DiMascio suppressed evidence of a health threat and child endangerment to children of the Garden City School District in November 2020; in a taped conversation Mr. DiMascio cites Judge Jeffery Goodstein’s instruction in doing so. Mr DiMascio who is on the Nassau County bar grievance committee bragged he regularly “throws away grievance complaints,” again this has been audio recorded. I fired Mr. DiMascio in Dec 2020

Hired Law Firm

Working with this Law firm on a simple divorce case where no kids were involved, no extra marital complications and very little assets cost me 3 times the national average. Worse decision of my life signing a retainer agreement and believing they had my best interest. I should have followed my intuition and fired this law firm months into the divorce process. Please do not make the same mistake I made. The opposing lawyer was much better. I would recommend the opposing lawyer over DiMascio.
