In 1991 Attorney Woodacre received her Certificate of Mediation from the Harvard Law School Mediation Program and has extensive experience in business and general dispute resolution. She was featured in a Massachusetts Lawyer's Weekly article on mediation. Attorney Woodacre was admitted to the Federal District Court Bar in 1996.
Attorney Woodacre has clerked for two judges, one in domestic relations. She has represented many clients in all aspects of domestic relations, including termination of parental rights and high conflict custody matters. Her broad based life experience brings a seasoned view to the process of dissolving a marriage and reconstituting familial relations between the parties.
As a member of the family law sections of the American and Massachusetts Bar Association, she keeps current on changes in case law and psychological aspects of divorce through continuing legal education courses and professional organizations. She maintains certification in mental health advocacy, and is informed of psychological issues such as parental alienation that often arise in high conflict custody cases.
