Regular business hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Appointments must be scheduled in advance. Prior to arriving for your first appointment, you will be asked to complete a Confidential Client Questionnaire designed to provide essential information on the particular legal matter that brings you to see Attorney Witt. Don't be concerned if you do not have all the needed information for your first appointment, but the more complete the information the better.
Fees are billed at an hourly rate for actual time spent. A retainer fee in an amount determined by the complexity of the case and projected time required must be received in advance. The retainer fee is deposited into an IOLTA account as required by the Supreme Judicial Court, and monies withdrawn as legal fees and costs are incurred on your behalf. You will receive a monthly itemized statement prepared from contemporaneous time records indicating the amount of your retainer balance. The hourly rate will be discussed at your initial appointment and confirmed in a written fee agreement that you will be asked to sign.
