Wilmot B. Irvin received his Juris Doctorate from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 1977. He served as law clerk to the Honorable George T. Gregory, Jr., Associate Justice of the South Carolina Supreme Court, and subsequently to the Honorable Robert W. Hemphill, Senior United States District Judge for the District of South Carolina. Mr. Irvin has practiced in the area of civil litigation throughout his career. He was a shareholder in the litigation section of the McNair Law Firm, P.A. until 1987, when he left to co-found the law firm of Glenn Irvin Murphy Gray & Stepp, L.L.P. Mr. Irvin has litigated employment matters including employee grievance arbitrations and sexual harassment claims, complex business and commercial matters, product liability and catastrophic personal injury actions. Since February, 1997 Mr. Irvin has been engaged in solo practice. A substantial portion of his practice is devoted to business litigation.

Mr. Irvin is committed to providing top-flight litigation services to his clients as economically as practicable, with the assistance of the latest support technology, including online factual and legal research capability, and litigation support software. Mr. Irvin frequently employs a team approach and utilizes support staff as needed.  Rebecca Guental Fulmer, Esquire, serves as Of Counsel and works with Mr. Irvin on many of his cases.  This flexible practice concept enables him to service large corporate clients in complex litigation or individual clients in personal injury or employment matters. In either case, effective and successful representation is the goal. Mr. Irvin is frequently asked to associate with other attorneys, serving as co-counsel in a variety of litigation contexts.

Areas of practice include business and employment litigation, personal injury and products liability litigation.
