Mr. Irvin is an active member and officer of First Presbyterian Church of Columbia, South Carolina, where he currently serves on the Session.  He has served the Church as Chairman of the Board of Deacons, Chairman of the Officer Nominating Committee, Chairman of the Senior Pastor Search Committee, and Chairman of the Personnel Committee.  Mr. Irvin has also served as a member of other boards, committees and community organizations, including the Executive Committee (President) of the Ex Libris Society of the University Libraries, University of South Carolina; the Board of Directors of the First Presbyterian Church Christian Counseling Center; the Gideons International of South Carolina; and the Skyhawk Club of Hammond School.
