David Williams is a past president of the Arkansas Trial Lawyers' Association, past secretary of the Council of Presidents for the Association of Trial Lawyers of America and a member of numerous Bar Association and Trial Lawyer Association committees. He has lectured at various seminars on evidentiary matters and trial practice strategies over the past twenty years. He is the author of several articles that have appeared in the
Arkansas Lawyer, the University of Arkansas at Little Rock
Law Journal,
Trial magazine, and the
Arkansas Trial Lawyers' Docket. Additionally, he has appeared on the
McNeil-Lehrer NewsHour on PBS, NBC's
Nightly News, and other media programs to discuss politics and the judicial system. Most recently, he has represented clients, both in Little Rock, Arkansas, and Washington, D.C., in the various Whitewater and Travel Office investigations conducted by the Office of Independent Counsel and the U.S. Senate and House committees. Presently, he represents several passengers who were injured in the crash of American Airlines Flight 1420 in Little Rock, Arkansas and serves on the Plaintiffs' Steering Committee.
David Williams handles complicated cases in the areas of personal injury, product liability, civil rights and commercial litigation. Fee schedules are designed to meet a variety of needs and budgets.
He handles representation in both state and federal courts and primarily represents consumers and plaintiffs. He does handle defense work in commercial and criminal litigation matters. He does not represent insurance companies.
