Recipient: Roderick Beddow Award (1989) by the Alabama Criminal Defense Lawyers Association. Elected to the Executive Committee of the Birmingham Bar Association.  Appointed as special judge in District Courts and Municipal Court, and as hearing officer under the Fair Dismissal Act.
