Hill, Barnes & McInerney, LLC is a law firm established in 1996 with an office in Westminster, MD. At this office location, there are 3 lawyers practicing criminal law, family law, divorce and 18 other areas of law.
Zoa is incredible. Not only did she represent my mother during her divorce, custody, and support case when I was a child but she also represented me through my own divorce, custody, and support case. She was always an open ear and my voice of reason. She helped me through multiple contempt hearings and she even stumped my ex while on the stand, catching him in his lies. I still recommend her to everyone in the area, and I have even considered moving back to Maryland to have her represent me when things go sideways in the state I live in now. To this day, even with my case being closed 5 years ago, she still remembers me when I call and she is still a listening ear and voice of reason. Simply incredible!
I sought Zoa Barnes' services in 2005 when my husband of nearly 25 years suddenly left our marriage. When I realized I was going to be in for the fight of my life, a friend who works for another local firm told me "YOU NEED ZOA BARNES." Zoa was absolutely instrumental in securing a very generous settlement AND A VERY NICE ALIMONY AWARD for me. Zoa was tough in the courtroom, yet maintained her grace and decorum even when faced with opposing counsel (nasty witch from Hell). Zoa is THE BEST!
This small firm is always extremely busy but always gave me the time required to discuss the status of my case. Both Kathleen and Sharon (office staff) are amazing women -- they both have a lot going on, yet were always patient and accommodating! I believe they are among the best local firms out here in Carroll County and I would highly recommend their services to anyone in need of legal representation.
Kathi Hill came highly recommended in Carroll County however after going through an entire divorce process with her and her staff I was extremely disappointed. Overcharged many times and unnecessary processes and expenses were performed without my permission or knowledge. You can pay half the amount I did through her and get the same results. I do not recommend her at all.
Zoa was great but the office staff was the worst they did not treat us with respect and it was very hard to ever talk to Zoa we had to always talk to her staff which were unhelpful
did not listen, did not defend my co-worker against top law firm think afraid of them, did not make changes asked, did not file case correctly, wording in case subject to interpretation/conflicts co-worker now being sued for Kathi Hill's incompetence. would NEVER use this lawyer!
