Alan J. Nuta has represented disability claimants, in both SSDI and SSI claims, before the Social Security Administration, not only in hearings before Administrative Law Judges but also in appeals to the Appeals Council and to U.S. District Courts.  He is a Sustaining Member of the National Organization of Social Security Claimants' Representatives and is also a member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, Social Security Disability Section.

     With regard to veterans disability claims, Mr. Nuta has represented veterans and their families at the administrative levels of the Department of Veterans Affairs, in addition to representing them at the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims.  He is a Sustaining Member of the National Organization of Veterans Advocates and is also a member of both the Federal Bar Association, Veterans Law Section, and the Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims Bar Association.
