Pamela W. Carroll, Legal Assistant to Nicole V. Bryan

Pamela assists the firm in the areas of long term care planning, estate planning and estate administration. 

Pamela moved to North Carolina from Vero Beach, Florida in Summer 2003 when her husband accepted a position with the Cabarrus County School System.  Her special honor is rearing two outstanding children, Kaleigh and Jackson, with her loving and wonderful husband.

Pamela enjoys gardening and most outdoor pursuits.  She and her family are involved in activities of Central United Methodist Church in Concord.  Pamela and Jim were married in 1987.

Beth Farr, Firm Administrator 

As Firm Administrator, Beth manages the office as well as assists the attorneys with Estate Administration. 

Beth has been with the firm since December 1999.  Previously a paralegal in Fayetteville, NC, she was more recently a preschool teacher in Cornelius.  A graduate of Terry Sanford High School, Beth earned her Business Administration degree cum laude from Methodist College, also in Fayetteville.

Beth's husband Brian and their three children keep her moving outside of office hours.  They enjoy family hikes and travel.  Any free time is given to their son's Cub Scout Pack in her job as treasurer and to their daughters' band and other school activities.  The family attends Mt. Zion United Methodist Church.

Michelle Ennis, Legal Assistant

Michelle assists the firm with estate planning and long term care planning matters.   

Michelle came to the firm with an Associate Degree in Paralegal Studies.  She was a Beta Club member throughout high school, graduating with honors. 

Married in 1996 to Kevin Ennis, the couple added son Tyler in 2000 and daughter Megan in 2002.  Her favorite place in the world remains "the beach."

Barbara H. Bryan, Communications & Client Services

Barbara represents the firm outside the office at meetings of senior organizations, educational exhibits and other functions and brings information, comments and presentation invitations for the partners back to the office.  Inside the office she works on educational materials, contact updates and assists on behalf of the firm in the formation and development of organizations such as North Mecklenburg Senior Services office and ARN Lake Norman .  She serves on United Family Services North Region Advisory Council.

Barbara is a Texas native, returning to North Carolina from Roanoke, Va.   She previously lived in Greenville, Fayetteville, Raleigh and Goldsboro .  Her communications career started at the Fayetteville Observer in January 1961.  As Goldsboro News-Argus Sunday feature editor she received an Associated Press Award for her series on prison system education in North Carolina .  A writer and poet since high school and family advocate for decades, she continues writing on those interests after hours.  She enjoys cultural offerings in the area, especially music, and is a member of Davidson College Presbyterian Church and its Community Missions Committee.

Widowed in 2002, she is the mother of three grown sons:  Eason, in real estate in Wilmington;  Russ, an attorney in Wilmington ; and Callan Bryan of this firm.  A grandson and a granddaughter, born in 2005, gave her the title of grandmother also.

Jennifer Stutts, Receptionist

Previously a student and Spa Coordinator in Sylva, NC, Jennifer came to the firm with a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality and Tourism Management from Western Carolina University.

She enjoys staying busy, spending time with friends and family and shopping.  When time allows, Jennifer enjoys helping with church activities and missions.
