As one of the oldest personal injury firms in central Ohio, The Donahey Law Firm has been fighting for equal justice for injured people for more than three decades. Founding partners Tom Twyford and Dick Donahey took a chance in 1968 by creating a law firm specializing exclusively in fighting for the rights and claims for injured individuals. At the time many firms focused on corporate law, but few were willing to take the chance that The Donahey Law Firm did: to work for their clients on a contingency-only basis, in order to represent injured individuals who were often unable to pay large, up-front legal fees.

Thirty-seven years later, The Donahey Law Firm still operates on a "contingent fee" basis, which means that our attorneys get paid only when, and if, we recover money damages for a client. A contingent fee levels the playing field, allowing injured people and families with little or no financial resources to obtain experienced and effective legal counsel. The attorney's fee is simply a percentage of the award in the case. If there is no recovery, there is not a fee.
