Craig P. Treneff is a graduate of the Ohio State University and Capital University Law School, where he was elected to Law Review. Prior to entering private practice in 1983, he was judicial law clerk to Justice William B. Brown of the Ohio Supreme Court and served as chief legislative assistant to the Chairman of the Finance-Appropriations Committee of the Ohio House of Representatives. He was one of the first 50 lawyers in Ohio to be certified by the Ohio State Bar Association as a family relations specialist. He is a member of the family law committees of the Columbus, Ohio State and American Bar Associations. In addition, he is a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, and a member of the Collaborative Family Law Council of Central Ohio and the Franklin County Trial Lawyers Association. He lectures regularly on family relations law to continuing legal education seminars for lawyers.
