Mr. McAndrews is a 1991 Graduate of the University of Baltimore School of Law. He is a former associate attorney with the Baltimore law firm of Mason, Ketterman and Morgan, where he was a trial attorney with a general litigation practice. He started his legal career as a Legal Assistant in the Litigation Department of Weinberg and Green (now Saul, Ewing).
Prior to entering the legal profession, Mr. McAndrews was a successful small businessman in Howard County.
Mr. McAndrews he has taught Legal Ethics and Law Firm Management in the Paralegal Studies Program at UMUC.
He is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association and the Howard County Bar Association. He is an at large member of the Board of Directors of the Howard County Bar Association and is Chair of the Judicial Merit Selection Committee. Mr. McAndrews is Facilitator with the District ADR program and is a participating attorney with the Maryland Volunteers Lawyers Association.
His practice concentrates on general legal representation of small businesses and individuals, including business and commercial collections, litigation, estate matters, traffic and criminal defense, and general litigation.
Mr. McAndrews has tried cases in Circuit Courts, District Courts and Federal Courts throughout Maryland. He has extensive jury trial experience as well as Mediation and Arbitration experience. His law practice provides a high quality of work along with the personal attention that only a small practice can provide.
