Biography:
Raised in Erie, PA, Rick moved to North Carolina to attend college at Wake Forest University and moved to St. Louis and attended law school at Washington University. Rick’s interest in criminal defense grew while in law school after working for the Missouri Public Defender’s Office and the Colorado Public Defender’s Office in law school. Rick moved to Colorado after graduating from law school to continue his criminal defense work.
After three years working for the Public Defender’s Office, he chose to continue representing individuals accused of crimes in private practice. Rick has successfully tried numerous cases, including homicides, serious assaults and sexual assaults.
Rick participated in the National Criminal Defense College in Macon, GA in 2002 and has attended numerous National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers meetings.
