   The TDS lawyers participate in a wide range of professional and civic activities.

   Ed Towle is A.V. rated in Martindale-Hubell and has been elected to the Southern California Super Lawyers in Business Litigation between 2004 and 2009.  He currently is a member of the panel of arbitrators of the American Arbitration Association and is on the Board of Trustees for Marymount High School.     

   Michael Denison is A.V. rated in Martindale-Hubbell and has been elected to the Southern California Super Lawyers in Civil Litigation Defense between 2004 and 2009.  He has authored a number of legal articles, including the following:  "Handling Vexatious Litigants,"  California Lawyer (August 2009) and "Making and Opposing Special Motions to Strike Under the California Anti-SLAPP Statute," CEB Action Guide (February 2007, originally published Spring 2004).  He also has served on the Executive Board of the Edison Language Academy PTA and as an assistant coach for the American Youth Soccer Organization.

   Charles Smith is A.V. rated in Martindale-Hubbell.  He currently is a Director of the California Division and Chair of the Los Angeles Region of the American Cancer Society.  He also was a Judge Pro Tem, Small Claims Appeals with the Los Angeles Superior Court and was a 2005 recipient of the Loyola Law School Board of Governors Recognition Award. 

   Martin Washton is A.V. rated in Martindale-Hubbell.  He has served as the General Counsel and Secretary of the Center Theatre Group, Los Angeles Music Center.
