Who is Susan M. Weaver?
A certified divorce mediator and Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW), Susan Weaver has been practicing Family Law for over 19 years, including Domestic Relations (Divorce) and Juvenile Courts. Instrumental in implementing Child Support legislation in Ohio, she designed the first set of Child Support Guidelines used in the state for the Cleveland court. She also designed and implemented the Guardian ad Litem (GAL) program in Cleveland, where attorneys receive training in representing children in divorce and juvenile courts. The Guardian ad Litem concept has now become part of Ohio Law.
A graduate of Cleveland Marshall College of Law and the School of Applied Social Sciences at Case Western Reserve University, she focuses her practice on three main areas:
