You should not discuss your injuries with anyone other than your doctor.  You should definitely not discuss your claim with anyone from the insurance company. 

This means your own insurance company as well as the company insuring the at-fault driver.  Insurance adjusters are trained to obtain admissions from claimants that will be difficult to explain or to put in the proper context later. 

It is best to simply refuse to discuss the accident with these insurance representatives without legal counsel present.

Of course, it goes without saying that you should not sign anything before consulting with your lawyer...
