Recently in Marin County Superior Court I was able to obtain compensation for my client Sonya Schwab who was hit by a negligent driver insured by State Farm Insurance Company. Even though this was a rear end collision and State Farm's insured was clearly negligent, State Farm refused to agree the collision was their responsibility. State Farm contended that the rear end collision could not have caused any injury to my client, Ms. Schwab. State Farm's offer before trial was very minimal. The jury found in my client's favor and she is now able to pay off her medical bills.
