Board Certified Attorney by the Florida Bar in Wills, Estates, Trusts since 1989. (There are approximately 200 + attorneys in Florida with this certification.) Carol has practiced law full time in Delray at same location since 1970; continued father Neil MacMillan's legal practice of 50 years in Delray Beach. Although he was a major attorney for local banks (as well as Bethesda Hospital) in the 60's, and 70's, the practice today concentrates in the area of estate planning and administration (including administration of a private foundation) with emphasis on estate tax planning strategies as well as residential and commercial real estate transactions. Recently, Carol's son Tom Stanley, a graduate of Princeton University and Florida State Law School, has also joined the firm to carry on the long standing tradition the firm has in Delray Beach. The staff consists of Gail Dany, a probate/trust administration assistant who has worked for the firm since 1972, Linda Oxford, a real estate assistant and document preparer who has worked for the firm since 1978, Joan Sasso, a probate/trust administration assistant who has worked for the firm since 1993, and Lois Petito, receptionist who has worked in the estate planning field for over 8 years. Carol works with other attorneys who have expertise in other fields, and most clients consider her their family's primary attorney.

Tom was born in nearby Boynton Beach, Florida and has lived in the the Delray Beach community all of his life. He attended local area Atlantic High School and went on to play varsity football and major in history at Princeton University. Afterwards, Tom came back to Florida and attended Florida State University Law School. Tom joined the firm in August, 2002 and practices in the areas of estate planning, wills and probate, trust law, and real estate.
