Mr. Musick handled hundreds of personal injury cases involving mass torts, such as asbestos-exposure and benzene-exposure, in the St. Louis metropolitan area, in both Missouri and Illinois. These mass tort cases frequently involve multiple plaintiffs and dozens of defendants, complicating the underlying substantive and procedural issues.

Additionally, Mr. Musick has served as an Illinois Assistant State's Attorney, where he focused on prosecuting criminal felonies and other offenses. He tried dozens of cases in both jury trials and bench trials. In this office, he chaired the Madison County Domestic Violence Steering Committee, where he spearheaded the efforts of prosecutors, police, probation officers and advocates in implementing that Court's first centralized docket for handling these problematic cases.

Through his representation of small municipalities, Mr. Musick is experienced in municipal corporation law. In this capacity, he oversaw public meetings and resolved issues that arose in matters such as budgeting, personnel, zoning and ordinance enforcement.

He resides in Springfield, with his wife, Trish, and their two sons, Nolan and Grant.
