A former Chief Deputy State's Attorney with 24 years of trial experience including 12 years as a supervisor in the Lake County State's Attorney's Office, Steve McCollum has the trial experience necessary to fully represent his clients. He has been Chairman of the Criminal Trials and Appeals Committee for the Lake County Bar Association for three of the last five years. He is currently one of five attorneys who are on the Illinois Capital Litigation Qualifications Screening Committee for Lake and McHenry Counties in Illinois. He is a former member of the Domestic Violence Council and the Board of the Major Crimes Task Force.
