When you select any of our attorneys, you get the expertise of all. We call upon each other for assistance as the need arises. It is not unusual for all the members of our firm to participate in one form or another when a case is tried.

Let us review your claim.  We do not charge for initial conferences.   We work on a contingent fee basis, which means that if you recover nothing, you pay us nothing for our time.

To fellow Attorneys:  If you have a case which requires more time or financial commitment than you presently have, we invite you to consider a shared work arrangement.  Many of our current cases are either referrals from other attorneys or cases where we continue to work with the original attorney. We consider it a great compliment that so many other lawyers think enough of our legal skills to bring us into their cases.

We handle cases both on a referral basis, where we usually finance the entire lawsuit (subject only to recovery from the settlement or judgment) and on a joint basis where we work with the referring attorney. In the latter instance, expenses are often shared, but even then we will often agree to finance the entire matter.

We encourage this shared work arrangement as we find that the original attorney can often add much to the case. Even where we handle most of the trial and pre-trial preparations, it really helps to have a lawyer involved who has gained the client's trust and who can assist us in keeping the client informed and advised.

We used this arrangement recently in two cases, one of which resulted in a two million dollar verdict in St. Louis and the other in which we obtained a four million dollar verdict in Scott County, Missouri.
