- December 2008 - Charles Woodhouse is again elected Chairman of Aquaculture Certification Council, Inc. for the 2009 term.
- November 2008 - Woodhouse Shanahan closes a $37 million trade finance facility for a major seafood importer.
- August 2008 - Mr. Woodhouse begins course study for the Graduate Certificate in International Food Law offered by Michigan State University's Institute for Food Laws & Regulations. His first year program includes courses in European Union and Canadian Food Law taught by instructors in the United Kingdom and Canada.
- June 2008 - Mr. Woodhouse's spouse, Professor Barbara Bennett Woodhouse is appointed as L.Q.C. Lamar Chair and Professor of Law at Emory University Law School in Atlanta. She will take up her new duties, moving from University of Florida Law School, in 2009.
- March 2008 - Publication of "Hidden in Plain Sight: The Tragedy of Children's Rights from Ben Franklin to Lionel Tate" (Princeton University Press) by Barbara Bennett Woodhouse, Levin Chair and Prof. of Law, University of Florida Levin College of Law.
- December 2007 - Charles Woodhouse is re-elected to position of Chairman and Director - Aquaculture Certification Council, Inc. for the 2008 term.
- September 2007 - Charles Woodhouse will begin six-months of study in Europe where he will focus on compliance issues in European Union Food Law. During this period, his spouse, Prof. Barbara Bennett Woodhouse of the University of Florida, will be visiting Senior Fellow at the European University Institute in Fiesole, Italy.
- June 2007 - Woodhouse Shanahan closes a $45 million trade finance facility for a major US based seafood importer.
- May 2007 - Charles Woodhouse and William Shanahan attend the National Fisheries Institute Spring Meeting in Naples, FL and participate in the Organic Aquaculture Committee's work on the National Organic Standard for Aquaculture Products.
- April 2007 - Charles Woodhouse publishes a review of the development of the US National Organic Aquaculture Standard.
- March 2007 - Charles Woodhouse is admitted to the Bar of the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit in Washington, DC.

- June 2006 - Woodhouse Shanahan closes a US$20 million Project Financing Facility for a major shrimp aquaculture producer.
- May 2006 - Woodhouse Shanahan closes a US$35 million Trade Finance and Antidumping Duty Bond Facility between a consortium of banks and a major US seafood importer and trader.

- January 2005 - Charles Woodhouse's spouse, Professor Barbara Bennett Woodhouse, Levin Chair and Professor of Law at the University of Florida's Levin College of Law is named a Hero of Human Rights by the American Bar Association and is profiled in Human Rights (Winter 2005) published by the American Bar Association Section of Individual Rights and Responsibilities.
