 MOZAMBIQUE AGRIBUSINESS PROJECT

  • Mr. Woodhouse's services to Indian Ocean Aquaculture (IOA) in Mozambique has assisted in the creation of jobs and investment in one of Africa's most impoverished and war ravaged areas. Mr. Woodhouse has made numerous trips to Africa for this project. Currently, Mr. Woodhouse is assisting IOA's Mozambican controlling shareholder in seeking an investment partner for expansion of the project.  

 LEGAL SERVICES FOR THE ARTS

  • Mr. Woodhouse's most recent pro bono project involves service as Counsel and as a Board Member of the Artists Alliance of North Florida, Inc. The Artists Alliance, a 501(c)(3) organization, promotes the art and artists of North Florida and contributes to the economic growth of North Florida through encouragement of the arts.

 AQUACULTURE CERTIFICATION COUNCIL

  • Charles Woodhouse serves as  Board Member, Chairman (2009), and Counsel to this Non Governmental Organization (with 501(c)(3) status) which inspects and certifies the compliance of aquaculture facilities with internationally accepted environmental, social, and food safety standards. HUMAN RIGHTS LAW

Charles Woodhouse is a member of the American Bar Association's Section of Individual Rights and Responsibilities and has devoted significant time to  pro bono services in the areas of children's rights and opposition to the the prosecution of juveniles as adults. He attended the National Association of Counsel for Children Annual Meeting in August 2008 and participated in its litigation counsel for children training program.
