  • The firm has successfully negotiated settlement of an employment law suit filed against an employer on behalf of an individual that alleged that the employer discriminated against the employee on the basis of age, and gender, and failed to reasonably accommodate the employee's disability under the Americans with Disabilities Act. Allegedly, the employer had questioned the gender of the employee and based upon false information had requested the employee to utilize the restroom of the opposite gender. The employee was further subjected to humiliation from co-workers and supervisors.  Additionally, the employee was further subjected to both physical and mental examinations and ultimately terminated from a position held for more than 25 years. The amount of the settlement and the names of the parties are subject to a confidentiality agreement.
