Office Hours And Fees

- OFFICE HOURS: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. -- Special appointments may be arranged at other times.
- EMERGENCY 24 HOUR SERVICES: Call 805-962-4887 -- 24 hour emergency paging is available; please press "1" and leave a voice message with a number at which you can be reached. A lawyer of the firm will be paged and can return your call. He or she can also reach any other member of the firm as necessary.
- NO CHARGE FOR INITIAL HALF HOUR CONSULTATION: We will respond to your e-mail although we cannot give legal advice over the internet. We can arrange for you to talk to one of the lawyers by telephone or arrange for a meeting at our offices in Santa Barbara.
- Arrangements can be made (for travel expenses and a fee) to meet with clients or potential clients at office facilities outside of Santa Barbara or at institutional or correctional facilities.
- WRITTEN FEE AGREEMENT: Except in cases of emergency, you will be provided with a written fee agreement which you can review before agreeing to retain Sanger & Swysen. We believe that the nature of services to be performed and the fees and costs for those services should be clearly understood in advance.
- CLIENT'S RIGHT TO KNOW: We also believe that clients should know what is being done on their behalf by their lawyers and they should feel comfortable asking questions at any time during their case.
