Robert M. Sanger founded the firm in 1973 emphasizing criminal defense of business and white collar allegations as well as homicide, property, drug and alcohol offenses. The firm's civil litigation includes defense of securities fraud and other business litigation. On a selective basis, the firm represents plaintiffs in civil rights cases involving race, age, sex, violation of public policy, disability discrimination, law enforcement misconduct cases and other complex litigation. The firm also handles felony writs and appeals and the defense of misdemeanors including drunk driving cases.
