Our firm uses a team approach to better serve our clients. Gary E. Robbins is the firm's attorney. He has been an attorney for 23 years, and has represented hundreds and hundreds of parents and children in family law cases since 1982. He prepares the legal petitions, and appears in Court with you. He conducts the initial interview, and he is responsible for supervising his staff.
Lori Brook is a Certified Legal Assistant. She prepares the financial affidavits and worksheets, and other documents under Mr. Robbins' supervision. However, since her hourly rate is only a quarter of Mr. Robbins, this is a cost-effective advantage for you.
Jan Hanson is the Front Office Manager. She answers the telephone, makes copies, creates trial notebooks, keeps the filing in order and does whatever needs to be done to keep the office running smoothly.
During a trial, either Lori or Jan will usually accompany Mr. Robbins. Our experience is that they help provide an extra edge to us doing the best job possible for our clients. They are also available to you, when Mr. Robbins is called into meetings with the Court or the other attorney.
While Mr. Robbins tries to return all telephone calls within twenty-four hours, both Lori and Jan can often answer our clients' questions, or can relay a question to Mr. Robbins.
We are a family centered office. While we encourage you to not bring your children to the office, we have toys and puzzles for children, and even a TV/VCR. Jan and Lori are both mothers, and they can do a great job of watching your children, if you have to bring them with you.
Mr. Robbins is very proud that, in 1994, his legal abilities were rated "High to Very High" by the Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory, a rating that he has maintained every year since then.
