The Ellison Law Firm is currently reviewing Texas cases against Wal-Mart for failing to pay overtime. An article in the April 2003 issue of Mother Jones describes Wal-Mart's employee practices. We expect to find that Wal-Mart is using the same tactics in Texas that led an Oregon jury to find it guilty of systematically forcing employees to work overtime without pay. Wal-Mart has settled overtime cases involving thousands of workers in New Mexico and Colorado.
