I prosecute SERIOUS claims for individuals and businesses against insurers and dishonest corporations. I handle wrongful death and serious personal injury and property damage cases, libel and slander, and business torts. *

I do not handle minor accident ("whiplash" or "fender benders"). I am selective in taking on clients, so for the ones I accept, I can devote adequate time and resources.

Representative matters I am currently handling include: a young mother with traumatic brain injury whose own insurer has refused to pay her the fair value of her claim; a business man whose property insurer refused to pay for the loss of his inventory in Tropical Storm Allison; an electrician who had a roll of cable dropped on him on a job site; a woman assaulted in the parking lot of her apartment; and a retired couple who were cheated out of royalties on an oil well .

Litigation Philosophy

Once I accept a client, my philosophy is: FIGHT TO WIN! If winning can be accomplished by settlement, that's fine. If the defendant won't pay the fair value of the claim, we will try the case. My experience has taught me that the best way to get a favorable settlement is to push the case to trial.
