Douglas A. Prutton has been a member of the American Trial Lawyers Association, The Consumer Attorneys of California, the Berkeley-Albany Bar Association, the Alameda County Bar Association, The State Bar of California Labor and Employment Law Section,and the California Employment Lawyers Association. He has been a member of the Board of Governors of the Alameda-Contra Costa Trial Lawyers Association for three years.
