Melinda Previtera, a partner at Petrelli Previtera, LLC, prioritizes building strong relationships with her clients, which she views as the foundation of her successful family law practice. Her experience and dedication enable her to handle complex divorce cases with confidence and focus, achieving favorable outcomes for her clients. Melinda also mentors the firm’s associates, sharing her knowledge and commitment to high-quality representation. In addition to divorce, Melinda handles various family law matters, including child custody, child support, legal separation, and domestic violence cases. While earning her law degree from Rutgers School of Law, she gained a certification in mediation, conducted child advocacy research, and participated in a domestic violence clinic. She also holds dual bachelor’s degrees, cum laude, from Dickinson College. Melinda is licensed to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. She began her legal career as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable James P. Savio in the family division and joined Petrelli Previtera as a partner in 2017 after working as an associate.
Active in the legal community, Melinda serves on the executive committee of the Justinian Society and is a member of the Nicholas A. Ciprani Inn of Court and the Philadelphia Bar Association.
