Well he s very nice guy he treated me very kind and very capacitive however when we went to court he didn't fight for me. He was very passive and didn't say much. I know next time to get a lawyer that only practice in one specific area.
David was recommended by my second husband while I was divorcing my first husband. He handled my divorce to my first husband and then the prenup for my second marriage. Unfortunately, my second husband set me up to take all my money then leave me. Guess who represented my second husband in the divorce? Yes, David Averett. I feel like they conspired from the beginning to drain me of my money and I would not trust him to represent anyone. He is a snake and a liar and does business with very shady characters. Do not trust him.
David was very unresponsive leading up to the court dates and extremely passive allowing the other party to get everything that they were seeking. He tried to bill me extra for extensions that he allowed the other party to have saying that wasn't in the original fees. Do not use this lawyer!
