Mr. Kessler chairs the Firm's Real Estate Lending and Transactions practice groups and is a former member of the Firm's Executive Committee. He handles all phases of commercial real estate and property law, including acquisition, sale, construction and permanent financing, development, leasing and management of real estate, construction contracts and related corporate and partnership matters. He represents owners and developers, landlords and tenants, buyers and sellers, lenders and borrowers, contractors and subcontractors. Mr. Kessler has represented numerous lenders in connection with construction and permanent financing, including representing a consortium of lenders with respect to a $50 million loan for the construction of a high-rise condominium/hotel in Atlantic City, the workout of the defaulted loan and resulting litigation.

Mr. Kessler has represented a real estate investment trust and its affiliates in connection with the acquisition and sale of multimillion-dollar portfolios of properties in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware and Florida.

Leasing Transactions
Mr. Kessler has represented a real estate investment trust and its affiliates and a national retailer, both as landlord and tenant, in leasing millions of square feet of commercial office, flex, retail and industrial space, including in high-rise office buildings and suburban business campuses.
