As a practicing physician for over 18 years, Gerald B. Parker, III, M.D., J.D., brings in-depth and real-world clinical expertise to Ross Feller Casey, LLP, where he concentrates on medical malpractice cases. Before becoming a lawyer, Dr. Parker devoted his professional life to caring for patients.

As a board certified internist, Dr. Parker's medical practice focused on acute care in the inpatient hospital setting, occupational health, and urgent care. He was on the staff of the Deborah Heart and Lung Center as well as several community hospitals in New Jersey.

More recently, as a member of a private company, Dr. Parker has assisted hospitals with administrative appeals of claim denials by Medicare and Medicaid contractors.

He graduated magna cum laude from Juniata College, went on to earn his medical degree at Jefferson Medical College and trained in Internal Medicine at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh and Lankenau Hospital in Wynnewood. In addition, Dr. Parker completed fellowship training in Medical Genetics at Harvard Medical School.

While in law school at the University of Pennsylvania, where he earned his Juris Doctor degree, Dr. Parker engaged in pro bono activities with Community Legal Services in Philadelphia, offering his expertise in research pertaining to the Early Periodic Screening, Diagnosis, and Treatment (EPSDT) Medicaid program for child health.

Dr. Parker has been admitted to the Bar in the state of New Jersey and Pennsylvania and is a member of the American Medical Association, the American Bar Association, and the Philadelphia Bar Association.
