With a legal career spanning over 35 years, and extensive trial experience including over 150 jury trials, Mr. Davis provides creative and effective legal representation to his clients. Mr. Davis received his Juris Doctor degree from Indiana University School of Law following military service where he served as a decorated combat soldier for the United States Army in Vietnam. As a result of his service, he received a Battlefield Commission as a Second Lieutenant. His biography also includes serving as Commissioner of the Nebraska Accountability and Disclosure Commission, 1977-1982; Special Agent, U.S. Secret Service, 1970-1973; and Attorney-in-Charge, Organized Crime and Anti-Corruption Strike Force, Indianapolis, Marion County, Indiana, 1975-1976. Mr. Davis was also a Democratic Candidate for U.S. Congress in 1996.

Mr. Davis was admitted to practice in the State of Nebraska in 1975 and is also admitted to appear before the U.S. District Court, District of Nebraska; 1976, Indiana State Bar and U.S. Court of Appeals, Eighth Circuit; 1982, U.S. Tax Court; 1983, U.S. Supreme Court; 1989, Colorado State Bar and U.S. Claims Court; 1992, U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit; 1997, U.S. Court of Appeals, Tenth Circuit; 2012, Iowa State Bar. His publications include Raids: A Guide to Planning, Coordinating and Executing Searches and Arrests, Charles Thomas Publishers; 1982; "Impeachment By Prior Inconsistent Statements," Trial Magazine; March, 1989; "Self-Control: The Forgotten Rule of Cross-Examination," Trial Magazine; October, 1989; and "Preparing Witnesses for Cross-Examination," Trial Magazine.

An active member of the community, Mr. Davis is a member of the Nebraska State (Member, House of Delegates); Iowa State, Indiana State, Colorado State, and American (Member, Criminal Justice Section) Bar Associations; National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers; Nebraska Criminal Defense Attorneys Association (Past President); Phi Alpha Theta; and Delta Theta Phi.
