After attending schools in Pennslyvania, New York and Colorado he has practiced law in Puerto Rico during the past 29 years as a litigator and transactional lawyer. He has served on the board of many companies including Roig Commercial Bank, Navieras de Puerto Rico (Shipping), Antonio Roig Sucesores (Sugar and Real Estate), Caparra Dairy, Inc. and several other corporations. He has been Commodore of Club Náutico de San Juan and has sailed in national and international events and is co-chairman of the Puerto Rican American Foundation which promotes traditional values. He is a well known and respected member of his community.
