I have been primarily a transaction lawyer for 23 plus years preferring matters in real estate, construction, contracts, corporate governance and health care. As an ex-in-house counsel I am familiar with many of the day to day challenges facing corporate America. I have been fortunate enough to have been employed by several Fortune 500 companies including Fluor, Bechtel, Mars, Inc., American Medical International, Inc., and UniHealth. I have acquired and disposed of owned and leased real estate throughout the United States, South America and Asia. I have served my client's by developing and implementing real estate strategies, budgets, and real estate outsourcing programs. During my career I have contracted for over $700 million dollars of real estate and over $1 billion dollars of real estate related transactions. I have served as the head of real estate for two Fortune 500 companies, American Medical International (now Tenet) and UniHealth (now a foundation, was parent company to CareAmerica and PacifiCare). I have an extensive background in construction and was co-editor and co-author of the Fluor Contracts Management Manual published by Fluor in 1970. I am on the American Arbitration Associations panel of arbitrators and mediators.
The needs of my client come first in all circumstances!
