My practice is dedicated to helping my clients through difficult and sometimes confusing and frustrating legal problems.  Facing a legal crisis such as an injury, a criminal charge, or a divorce alone can seem overwhelming.  Having the advice and representation of a knowledgeable and experienced attorney can make all the difference in the world.

I represent injured clients to negotiate compensation for medical expenses, lost wages, and pain and suffering.  As a former insurance defense attorney, I use my knowledge and experience to ensure that my clients receive the compensation to which they are entitled.

I also protect the rights of the accused.  I represent clients that are facing misdemeanor, traffic, and other charges in District and Circuit Court.  A criminal conviction can have a lasting impact on your life, as well as a variety of immediate, negative consequences.  I work hard to minimize or eliminate those consequences. 

I assist individuals and families going through divorce with crafting agreements on child and spousal support, custody and visitation, and division of marital assets.  I take the time to work with my clients to develop agreements on these issues that will work for them.    I also provide mediation services to parties desiring to avoid litigating family law issues. 

As a complement to my family law practice, I also assist individuals and families with the drafting of wills to protect property and provide for loved ones. 

For my business clients I provide advice on business formation and drafting and filing corporate documents.  I also continue to work with my business clients on contract negotiation and drafting, and litigating disputes.
