Additionally, Bert is certified as a Rule 31 Mediator. Our Murfreesboro divorce lawyer has represented numerous individuals and businesses in both the prosecution and defense of contractual litigation and personal injury issues.

Bert is an active member of the Tennessee Bar Association, Rutherford/Cannon Bar Associations. He has assisted youth as a soccer coach and as a local businessman offering services for the development of gross motor skills. Bert founded the 100 Club of Rutherford County, and serves on the Board of Directors and on the Advisory Council for CB&S Bank. When not advocating on behalf of his clients, Bert enjoys golf, reading, and spending time with his wife and children. Understanding the needs of modern families allows him to offer experienced Murfreesboro divorce advice and Murfreesboro divorce help.

In June 2011 Bert was appointed by Lt. Governor Ron Ramsey to the Judicial Nominating Commission for the state of Tennessee. In this capacity, Bert is proud to serve the state of Tennessee by working with the other members of the Commission in making judicial nominations to state appellate courts and the state Supreme Court when vacancies arise.

I hired Mr. McCarter to handle a child custody/parenting plan modification case. Mr. McCarter was forced to deal with two of the most unscrupulous, unethical attorneys unresponsive to Mr. McCarter's correspondence, failure to comply with the Rules, Entry of Orders notified after Mr. McCarter's review are only the beginning of the issues Mr. McCarter and his entire firm, McCarter, Catron, and East of Murfreesboro, TN. 4 attorneys and 22 months latter my case was settled with favorably.

I hired Mr. McCarter in the Summer of 2011 to handle my very contentious custody case with 3 children involved and coming out of Juvenile court going to Circuit Court. Essentially he fought for me on two different battlefields with two different judges and stood up to a difficult opposing counsel showing great charm and patience. He showed great instinct in guiding me thru a difficult emotional time and was professional and encouraging even when i lost my composure. We finished the case well.

Bert provided excellent service and value for the money. My ex's attorney was based out of Nashville and chose a mediator in Nashville. Bert's name preceded us to the mediation and in turn resulted in me leaving the entire process very satisfied. Bert gave sound advice throughout the entire process and was always available to talk. I have and do recommend his services to anyone I know needing council.

Overpriced for quality of services rendered. Mr. McCarter left me alone while still in the middle of mediation.
