• Acted for Oxford Properties Group in connection with its acquisition of interests in 1250 boulevard René-Lévesque in Montréal.

• Acted for Oxford Properties Group in connection with its sale of various major office buildings in downtown Montréal.

• Acted for General Electric Capital Corporation in connection with its acquisition of a portfolio of over 30 industrial, office and retail properties in the greater Montréal area.

• Acted for General Electric Capital Corporation in connection with its acquisition of a portfolio of real estate loans in respect of properties throughout Canada.

• Acted for Jennings/Tooker Corporation in regard to the design-build project for the construction of a slaughter house in Chambly, Québec. The facility was leased to the operator and buildings were constructed under a design-build arrangement in accordance with the operator's specifications, a project valued at $20 million.

• Acted for First Capital Realty Inc. on the closing of a $450-million secured revolving credit facility with a syndicate of 10 banks jointly led by RBC Capital Markets, TD Securities and BMO Capital Markets.

• Acted for SITQ Immobilier in its acquisition with SL Green Realty Corp. of 1515 Broadway in New York City in a transaction valued at approximately US$500 million.

• Acted for SITQ Immobilier in the establishment of CMBS real estate investment trust with TIAA-CREF and restructuring of holdings of New York and Washington properties in a deal valued at approximately $160 million.

• Acted for First Capital Realty Inc. in its acquisition of six shopping centres in the greater Montréal area from Ivanhoe Cambridge.

• Acted for Terminal 3 Limited Partnership in the development of Terminal 3 at Pearson Airport in Toronto, leasing of Terminals 1 and 2 from the Government of Canada, sale of Terminal 3 and termination of the lease rights for Terminals 1 and 2 in what is believed to have been at the time the largest single site transaction in Canadian real estate history.

• Acted for Redbourne Realty Fund II in connection with its $48-million purchase of the Gateway Centre, a two-building office complex located in Markham, Ontario, from Electra Real Estate Ltd.

• Acted for Redbourne Realty Fund in connection with the Redbourne Madison Property Inc. and Redbourne Madison Property LP Inc. acquisition of Madison Centre from Bentall Investment Management.

• Acted as Canadian counsel to India-based Tata Chemicals Limited in its acquisition of General Chemical Industrial Products Inc. in a transaction valued at US$1 billion, making Tata Chemicals one of the largest soda ash producers in the world.

• Acted for Barzel Industries Inc. (formerly Symmetry Holdings Inc.) in its acquisition of Novamerican Steel Inc. for a purchase price of US$585 million.
