Law Offices of Jennifer Joyce Tompkins, LLC is a law firm with an office in Montgomery, AL. At this office location, there are 2 lawyers practicing family law, divorce, child custody and 41 other areas of law.
I spoke with their office for a consultation and asked how they were going to proceed with my case if I hired them as I am out of state. Their response was they were going to "review discovery" and case law. I question her seeing as there was no "discovery" in my case and she became extremely unprofessional, combative and curt. It is a real question as my previous lawyer did not ask for any discovery. She then told me I was not going to tell her how to practice law and she was not going to take my case. I let her know I was not interested in hiring her. She was not interested in "fighting" only capitulating.
I usually do not provide a bad review of ANYONE, but PLEASE save yourself the time, headache, and MONEY! First, she does NOT communicate with her client(s) or return phone calls. Second, I did not get the opportunity to speak with or meet her face-to-face until 2 DAYS before the given court date; well, you WON'T hear from her per say throughout the entire ordeal, but you will be communicating with "the help" instead. "Attorney" Tompkins showed me that she didn't care when she raised her voice at me and cowered down to the opposing counsel, which I found out later on of her paralegal and his paralegal being mother and daughter..MAJOR conflict of interest. She is ALL about the $$$$ not your case.
They did not return my call or follow up with my inquiry. I had a time sensitive matter and it proved to be a waste of time on my part.
