About Our Firm

Established in 1992, I dedicated my law office to the personal and direct contact with clients without layers of secretaries and paralegals. Through the use of computer, fax, and Internet technology, as well as voice mail, I am able to efficientally and quickly stay in contact with clients. I strive to return every phone call the day it is received as well as to reply to correspondence on the day it is received. I understand that the client's time is valuable and try to respect that.

I also believe that a fee charged must be reasonable, both to the client and attorney. Fee statements are detailed to allow the client to fully understand what work was performed and the time expended. Clients are routinely copied on pleadings and correspondence.

This office is driven on Godly principles. If an answer to a legal questions is not known, I will tell you that I will endeavor to obtain that answer, put you in touch with someone who will, or tell you that I do not know. If a legal matter is outside of my areas of practice, I will tell the client and try to refer them to someone who can handle the matter. Likewise, referrals I receive are handled as though the person who referred the matter to me has his/her reputation at stake as well.

Clients have commented to me that I take the time to explain the legal matters to them, and that they are explained both the good and bad aspects of their case or decisions that may have to be made. I take pride when some client refers to me as their "family lawyer".
