Since leaving the government he has represented hundreds of taxpayers before the IRS, the North Carolina Department of Revenue and in the Courts. Mr. Bates is a member of the Public Investors Arbitration Bar Association and is experienced in representing investors before both the National Association of Securities Dealers and the Commodities Futures Trading Commission.
